Kasi Shelton studied criminology at the University of Oklahoma before moving the East Coast and earning an Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits, becoming a Certified Specialist of Wine and a Certified Sommelier. While living in NYC she was involved with City Meals on Wheels and when possible volunteered at food banks. Upon returning to OKC she became a member of Temple B’Nai Israel and regularly volunteered to deliver for Meals on Wheels of Norman, the Mary Abbott Children’s Home, and the Regional Food Bank of Central Oklahoma. Currently, she is a full-time graduate student at the University of Oklahoma, Operations Manager for the Barrel Room in Edmond, active on Temple B’Nai Israel’s Social Action Committee, OU Hillel’s board member, teaches beverage classes, and is an active volunteer for various organizations. Kasi is currently pursuing a degree in Administrative Leadership and would like to become more involved in the non-profit sector where she plans to transition her career.
